A Traditional Karate Seminar with sensei Andrzej Olech, 6th Dan, champions’ coach and international referee. At least 6 hours training over Saturday and Sunday.

Another busy Sunday for the TKFGB squad team – we have met for two training sessions which have been concluded by nominations for the incoming World Traditional Karate Championships Cracow ORLEN 2016 and Festival World Karate-Do Renaissance.

Congratulations to all nominees (the list will follow), keep up the hard work, see you in Peterborough again at the beginning of October.

The Gasshuku 2016 and WTKF International Summer Camp took place at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sport Centre ‘Dojo – Stara Wies’ in Poland on August 16-21. The seminar gathered 320 participants from 15 countries: Armenia, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Uzbekistan and Poland.

The trainings were conducted by Sensei Albert Cheah  (USA), Sensei Mahmoud Tabassi  (USA), Sensei Nelson Carrion (Uruguay) and Sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski  (Poland).

Over the weekend (11-12.06.2016) our TKFGB team trained hard in Bournemouth, participating in the squad training on Saturday and Traditional Karate Southern Cup “Bournemouth 2016” on Sunday. Thanks to our hosts from Traditional Karate Club OKAMi and a good weather (!), on the Saturday’s afternoon juniors, seniors and families have enjoyed great BBQ with games, competitions (arm wrestling) and …great polish sausages 🙂 Good time, good fun, thank you all for great contributions.
