Cotswolds Karate demonstrations – 16.04.15

WTKA (Western Traditional Karate Academy) and TKFGB organised demonstrations at the primary and secondary schools of Cotswolds and Great Rissington.

The displays were welcomed enthusiastically by both the students and the staff. They showed a lot of genuine interest and attention which eventuated in starting new groups for the beginning Karate athletes.
Big thanks to TKFGB team for your commitment, positive attitude and good fun.
The results will be seen soon with the kick off of the new karate classes.

TKFGB demonstrations in Oxfordshire – 25.03.2015

Members of the TKFGB National Junior and Senior Squad accompanied by their Chief Coach, Zbigniew Godzisz, arrived in Kingham, Oxfordshire to support a special Karate demonstration held at the local Kingham Hill College.

On 21st March over 200 students gathered to see the Karate as presented by sensei Lukasz Radwanski, multiple World and International Champion and medallist. The team also visited Blockley C of E Primary School in Morton-in-Marsh with another display of Karate skills. Both events were enthusiastically welcomed and were followed by numerous questions.

The demonstrations are supposed to give rise to a cooperation between Western Traditional Karate Academy and the aforementioned schools. The new classed are planned to launch soon after the end of the school Easter break, on the schools’ premises. It is a part of TKFGB’s initiative for nationwide collaboration with primary and secondary schools within the sportive and educational programme of raising psyhical and mental health awareness.

10-12th April 2015: Seminar with sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski – 7 Dan

A special seminar with sensei Wlodzimierz Kwiecinski, 7th dan, the President of World Traditional Karate-Do Federation, will be held in Boston and Norwich during the weekend of 10 – 12th April 2015.
Master Kwiecinski is arriving to The UK straight from his journey to Japan.

The seminar agenda includes the following:

  • Gneral all-grade training
  • Specialist Master training
  • Master grading

The seminar is an open event and all the athletes who want to take part are invited to do so. The times and venues are contained in the attachment.
