TKFGB – Traditional Karate-Do Federation of Great Britain – was founded in December 2014.
The mission of the TKFGB is to build enhanced self-esteem, sound health, and the strong character of its members through disciplined, hard karate training.
Our objective is to maintain the highest standard of training through continuous improvement of our own skills
We create a strong and healthy community based on the knowledge gained from Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, the closest student of Sensei Gichin Funakoshi.
Continuous growth is TKFGB’s primary goal.
TKFGB athletes participated in WTKF World Championship and Open World Cup, in Lima, Peru 2024. Our competitors finished the competition with such fantastic results, with Adriana Peiseniece becoming the World Champion in individual kumite and Kristine Rubina winning both kata
The 22nd ITKF World Championship and 4th Open Cup, Portugal 2024 were very successful for our athletes, who earned in total of 17 medals! Big congratulations to them, and a big thank you to the rest of the TKFGB Team
